cozy.

i forgot to put up a picture with the last post.

i really like pictures.

i'm sorry i forgot. 

so it's really chilly here in christchurch. about 10 degrees celcius. and this has been the warmest day yet.

that's about 45 F, so it's been in the high 30's, low 40's the past few days.

all i want to do is this...

 

and listen to this...

and eat this...

yum! 

if you've met me, you know i LOVE to bake cupcakes.

but there are some issues...

1. i have no oven! 

(allegedly my microwave is also a convection oven, but i have yet to see it in action)

2. cake mix and icing is so so expensive here! 

(like $5 a box and a can... so only really special occasions)

any ideas?

cheap, yummy desserts that don't require much baking or many ingredients?

any recipe ideas at all would be welcomed actually... we've eaten lots of pasta up in this joint the past week. (yummy pasta, but pasta nonetheless)

Cake mix, seriously? Scratch, baby, scratch. I have found another wonderful food blog with some incredible desserts, I need you here so we can try them together. Somehow Andrew doesn't get as enthused( sp?) about cooking with me as you do!
